Steve & Brooke put Resistol on the 'Mapp'

Resistol Australia are proud to announce their newest ‘Team Resistol Australia’ ambassadors, Steve and Brooke Mapp, along with their children MJ and Twins, Cruz and Cooper. The Mapp family hails from Singleton NSW & will be partnering with Marsh Carney Saddlery (Scone, Tamworth & Dubbo) as their official Team Resistol Australia representatives.
Resistol hats have been handcrafted in Garland Texas since 1927, and are renowned for their durability, style, and ability to survive in some of the harshest environments in the world. Resistol truly believes in and supports the rodeo community and wish to continue that legacy in Australia.

Steve Mapp is a 7 x Team Roping Australian title holder and currently holds the Australian Team Roping record of 3.5 seconds with his brother Matt. Steve has travelled far and wide across Australia, and throughout America competing in Rodeo’s.
Brooke competes in the Steer Undecorating, Breakaway and Team Roping – and she has qualified for the ABCRA National finals too many times to count.
MJ has just turned thirteen and has travelled nationally & internationally with Mum and Dad rodeoing since she was young. MJ has competed in the ABCRA Junior finals in Barrel Racing, and she also competes in Breakaway and Team Roping.
Cruz and Cooper are eleven and can generally be found wearing their iconic Resistol Ride Safe Helmets. They have a passion for Team Roping, Breakaway, and Steer Riding. Both just recently competed at the APRA Junior National Finals and ended up 4th and 6th in the average in the Team Roping, with many other competitors being 6 years older than them.
“We are a strongly bonded family, and we love competing at Rodeos all over Australia,” said Brooke Mapp. “Steve and I have always been huge supporters of Resistol, and we are very thankful for the design of the ‘Resistol Ride Safe’. They are so comfortable that our boys never take them off!”
