Horseland Midland - Tessa Sharman-Farrelly

Tessa Sharman is a 4* event rider from Western Australia. Having grown up in the central wheatbelt on a farm, horses were part of her daily life and the passion to ride and compete has never stopped. Tessa is very passionate about producing her own horses through the levels in both Eventing & Showjumping, and currently has two horses as part of her small team. Cuba RL, a 5 year old purpose bred warmblood was purchased last year by Tessa, and has already seen some amazing success, crowned the 2022 WA Young Event Horse Champion. And Madamchino is a 7 year old off the track thoroughbred who Tessa has produced to 2 star level eventing. They had a great 2022 season placing 13th at Melbourne International 3DE in the CCI 2 Star Long, and have Adelaide 3 star firmly in their sights for 2023.

After spending the 2012 season training & competing in the UK, Tessa returned home and made the decision to move out of her accounting career and took a job at Horseland to broaden her love of horses & the industry. This move helped Tessa to develop her passion for horses further and into a career, and it was through her role at Horseland Midland that she discovered the Bomber Bit range. Seeing first hand with her own horses the difference the correct bit can make, Tessa undertook training with Bomber to broaden her knowledge and is very passionate about sharing that education to help others find the perfect bit for their horses.

When not riding her horses, Tessa is busy as the owner of Spooks Riding Australia . Having been offered the opportunity to purchase this business just over two years ago, Tessa jumped at the chance and loves every minute of been a business owner of such a fabulous brand!!
