Cody Heffernan joins Team Resistol Australia

While Cody is somewhat of a household name these days, his journey as a cowboy began in the early 90’s. ‘My Family was always involved with Horses and Rodeos; I was in the saddle by the age of four!’. While Rodeo was the family passion, Cody’s path dramatically changed when a VHS copy of ‘8 Seconds’ dropped into the family video catalogue. Lane Frosts inspirational life story and the wild imagery of the bull riding had Cody sold – and the rest as they say is history.

Cody’s list of achievements is extensive - the 2016 & 2022 Australian Bull Riding Champion, 2016 PBR World Finals Qualifier, 2018 ABCRA Australian Bull Riding Champion, 2017/2018 ABCRA NFR Bull Riding Champion and most recently in November, the 2022 PBR Grand Finals Champion – alongside getting married to his amazing partner Ali!

‘The next couple of years I plan on just enjoying riding Bulls and possibly holding some bull riding schools.’
